And.....she talks in that silly baby voice as though she's still a little spoilt brat girl!

Fiona Fullerton herself HATED being criticised by the judges, didn`t like it at all when they found fault with her performance.

Deedaa Mon 23-Dec-13 23:13:58

From what we've seen of Susannah's progress on Strictly I can't imagine that she could have found time to orchestrate any sort of campaign. Comments like that just make people look like really bad losers.

Sour grapes!

Gagagran Mon 23-Dec-13 11:55:43

Yes thanks Ana it was that one. Unnecessary sniping in my view.

Ana Mon 23-Dec-13 11:48:38

Or this one?

Aka Mon 23-Dec-13 10:48:53

Is this the article you read Gaga?

glammanana Mon 23-Dec-13 10:41:10

feetle you could be mr glamma's long lost brother with your thoughts on SCD he has only shown interest when I showed him photo of Abbie Clancey modeling underwear (typical male species) & the fact she is from Liverpool made some input to his interest I must add.tchgrin

Gagagran Mon 23-Dec-13 10:33:13

Bit surprised to read Fiona Fullerton's piece in the D. Telegraph being bitchy about Susanna - unworthy of you Fiona! (Sorry don't know how to put the link on)

Charleygirl Mon 23-Dec-13 10:29:10

I have not read any newspapers today yet. Try and ignore them if possible.

GrandmaMiney Mon 23-Dec-13 10:26:50

Thank you jingl, Your words are so much appreciated.

jinglbellrocks Mon 23-Dec-13 10:17:55

A nice Christmas fire can do wonders to lighten any darkness of the soul.

jinglbellrocks Mon 23-Dec-13 10:16:36

Tear any newspapers in the house up and take great delight in using them to light your fire.

jinglbellrocks Mon 23-Dec-13 10:15:37

Oh my God! Haven't read any of it (don't do the papers this early) but it sounds awful.

Take NO notice what so flippin' ever of the British press. Idiots the lot of them. Do not let it get to you. angry

GrandmaMiney Mon 23-Dec-13 10:12:12

Why did I think this 'journey' was over. The cruelty of the backlash in today's papers has saddened me. We knew there would be some--that's the nature of the beast. But the untruths that are being bandied around as 'fact'? sad
Dark nights of the soul are here, but they say: 'there's no pain without growth'.
Have a lovely Christmas tchsmile

jinglbellrocks Mon 23-Dec-13 09:15:26

I only watched it from about the halfway mark. When only the likely ones were left in.

jinglbellrocks Mon 23-Dec-13 09:13:59

feetlebaum you sound so much like my DH on the subject of Strictly. ("Oh, not this again!"] tchhmm tchgrin

Tegan Mon 23-Dec-13 08:04:48

I think it's pure pantomime and sometimes we need things to take our minds off all the awful things that are happening in the world. It's all gone over my head, really, as I only tend to watch BBC4 [oh and all the wierd channels I keep finding in the early hours of the morning]. The only time I watched X Factor was when I heard about Susan Boyle so I tuned in to the final having heard her rendition of The Stones 'Wild Horses' [wow!!]. But it has been fascinating to get an 'insiders perspective' over the past few weeks [or, in my case, few days].

Kiora Sun 22-Dec-13 23:04:20

I didn't watch regularly. I think it's good family t.v for all ages but it's not news is it. My feelings are that it's a light program so doesn't merit a place on a serious news program. I can understand feetlebaum thinking. I get fed up with tuning in to political programs and having to watch the presenters fawning over some celebrity. But it is my personal view and I realise I must be in the minority otherwise it wouldn't keep happening.

feetlebaum Sun 22-Dec-13 22:16:49

"you did not have to watch it or read this thread!"

True... but the damn thing was all over the TV schedules, like some malignant tumour... and my opinions are just as valid as any one else's, aren't they?

Oh, I thought they were. Sorry...

Deedaa Sun 22-Dec-13 21:17:06

I've always been surprised that we don't see more of Peter Crouch Tegan Capello particularly didn't seem to like him, yet he's made a real difference in some matches. As I've said before I think it's a real boost for Abbey and lifts her out of the "just a footballer's wife" rut.

Tegan Sun 22-Dec-13 20:47:38

Although I only watched a bit of it because of this thread, I felt that Abbey 'needed' the win more, the others being so successful in their respective careers [and I've always felt that Peter Crouch should have played more for England and has never been given enough credit for his skills as a footballer].

Deedaa Sun 22-Dec-13 20:32:35

I like so many things that you like feetle but i won't give up on Strictly! tchgrin

Charleygirl Sun 22-Dec-13 16:08:18

feetlebaum you did not have to watch it or read this thread!

merlotgran Sun 22-Dec-13 15:22:39

You sound like my DH, feetle
