Anyone watch that episode? So sad. Will be sorry to see Tanya go.

The only soaps I watch are Eastenders, Neighbours and Home and Away, and the latter 2 don`t take up a lot of time, especially if recorded, and fast forwarded through credits and adverts. And I read a lot and come on here because my housekeeping skills are about NIL!

Not me, Stansgran, Stenders and Holby are on serieslink on the Skybox anything else is a bonus!! Though GN takes up a fair amount of any available time grin

Stansgran Sun 30-Jun-13 15:53:32

There are gransnetters who watch east Enders and coronation street and read and go on Granny net and are on Facebook and twitter and read game of thrones and watch Merlin ans listen to the Archers and say what's on Mumsnet and think Ted.com is brilliant. I have 24 hours in a day same as every one else so what are they on? I've had enough of feeling inadequate. I need to know.

That's it! grin

Jack is the only gorgeous one.

kittylester Sun 30-Jun-13 12:32:39

Jay - couldn't stand it - looked it up! grin

By the way - Masood is still mine blush

As well as all the other above impossibilities, I couldn't help thinking about the length of time the cab was parked outside the door with the meter ticking, racking up a huge sum. Anyone with any sense finishes packing, then calls the cab when they are absolutely ready to go, But the writers give soap characters fat wallets when it suits the storyline.

Jamie's long demised.

j08 Sun 30-Jun-13 12:27:37

It's bugging me. Will NOT go on website. WILL remember.

j08 Sun 30-Jun-13 12:26:41

I can't think of his name either. hmm

PRINTMISS Sun 30-Jun-13 11:50:12

of course not kittylester - it just happens to be on!

kittylester Sun 30-Jun-13 08:46:57

I enjoyed that fluffy programme about a women only taxi firm and I thought Lauren was really well acted.

Printmiss I drive DH bonkers by continually asking who is looking after Oscar! And, how did Tanya manage to sell her business so quickly? And, how does that headmistress have enough time to be all round the square at lunchtimes? And, why does she live in a tatty rented flat? And, don't you just love Abby's boyfriend (name had gone - Jamie?)

Addict - moi - never grin

PRINTMISS Sun 30-Jun-13 07:29:37

I have only watched one episode of Corrie, ages ago don't know why I never bothered again, probably because I was out on the evenings it was on.

nightowl Sat 29-Jun-13 22:45:26

So do I (obviously). After 12 years of working shifts and not being able to keep up with the soaps I am making up for lost time grin

j08 Sat 29-Jun-13 22:30:44

It doesn't have to either/or. You can watch both! hmm

I do. smile

nightowl Sat 29-Jun-13 22:19:13

Babs it's Corrie for me too, although I don't like the fact that evil David has returned and what on earth are they doing to Roy shock

j08 Sat 29-Jun-13 22:09:45

She's a headmistress! And she is still. smile

Babs1952 Sat 29-Jun-13 22:07:54

Night owl you made me laugh out loud with your comments about being buried alivesmile if someone did that to me I wouldn't want to be in the same country never mind the same bedhmm

Eastenders is so miserable I stopped watching ages ago. Give me Corrie every time smile

j08 Sat 29-Jun-13 18:46:59

Marelli Sat 29-Jun-13 18:42:43

You know the one who used to be a teacher? Is she still a teacher? Her son works in the garage and his real father's just turned up. She's the newly found daughter of Tanya's mum....confused. Anyway, why isn't she going to work at the school anymore? Or is she - have I missed something (else)?

PRINTMISS Sat 29-Jun-13 17:42:57

It's great isn't it how we still follow a programme which is so totally unbelievable, and create a thread! It is awful but we watch it regularly, and then wonder where the ideas come from and of course the producers don't really expect us to believe it - or do they? I just love the way they produce babies then carry on as if nothing had happened- who looks after these babies while they go off to the 'Queen Vic'?

Pittcity Sat 29-Jun-13 16:02:29

In Tanya's kitchen there was a box of "Special Flakes"....think this explains their behaviour!! wink

j08 Sat 29-Jun-13 12:26:26

Right- o then. I can do that.

Tegan Sat 29-Jun-13 12:11:54

It's ok j; by the look of it once every 2 years should be enough smile.

j08 Sat 29-Jun-13 12:06:17

You''ve stopped watching itTegan?! I can't do that run-down for you every day! hmm

Tegan Sat 29-Jun-13 11:47:26

The one that was a bit chubby and then got thin [nothing to do with the pregnancy]. It was at the time when the family used to make me sit through Eastenders on Christmas Day confused each year. nightowl; maybe the burying alive was meant to be more metaphysical [is that the right word??]. I seem to have missed quite a lot of happenings since I stopped watching it.
