I enjoyed it in a way, but can't believe in a village where all the men appear to be psychotic! Will give it ine more go tonight.

Mishap...having been treated to the obligatory "bonk on the sofa", I wouldn't mind betting there'll be a bang, wham, thank you mam, all around the kitchen, [with items of underwear being thrown around like old rags] to look forward to - not hmm

Very unlikeable, and unbelievable characters, weird setting. Big let down.

Mishap I thought to myself - this is dire, I'm off to bed with Bill Bryson. #notintheflesh

I didn't really get it, don't think I'll bother with the other episodes.

Very odd and no sane person in the village. I must live a very dull life.. thank goodness.

Will give it one more go tonight.

Anyone watch the first episode? It will be the last that we watch!

Compared to the Scandinavian thrillers/detective films that we have become used to this is a really lightweight programme.

So many of the British offerings have gone down the Midsomer Murders route - fanciful and surreal - and Lewis has been heading that way too. Mayday even had a Midsomer Murders type village green.

None of the characters were remotely believable; and the obligatory "bonk on the sofa" added nothing at all to the tale.

Hackneyed ploys of making children's toys, rocking horse, bits of dolls look sinister have all been done before ad nauseam - and done better by the likes of Hitchcock. What a disappointment that was - it had been built up as being really good.
