Agree with you there, jingl! 'Keep young and beautiful, it's your duty to be beautiful, keep young and beautiful, if you want to be loved' - YUK!

No!!! Draw the line at Jimmy Young!!!!

"What's the recipe today Jim?" Aaaargh!

susieb755 Thu 28-Feb-13 22:38:11

I don't mind Jezza but agree he can be a bit smarmy at times and is quite a snob too. Oh perhaps * I do mind him after all* grin love Ken Bruce though.

Sorry flowerfriend, I find him smarmy. Loved him in the newsreaders Rocky Horror Show bit on Children in Need a few years back though.

sunflowersuffolk Thu 28-Feb-13 19:57:56

oh dear ....just me then .... and flowerfriend smile

flowerfriend Thu 28-Feb-13 18:57:36

numberplease JeremyVine is a lovely young man. How could you say you prefer Dermot?

numberplease Thu 28-Feb-13 16:59:14

We don`t have a radio, so don`t catch Jeremy Vine`s talk show, but I find him very smarmy on Eggheads, bring back Dermot Murnaghan!

kittylester Thu 28-Feb-13 14:44:21

I love Ken Bruce and listen to him when Victoria Derbyshire starts causing my BP to rise. grin

Ana Thu 28-Feb-13 14:39:45

So do I! smile

j08 Thu 28-Feb-13 14:30:51

Can't stand Terry Wogan either!

I love Ken Bruce though.

Orca Thu 28-Feb-13 14:28:32

Just like Terry Wogan! What is it with male radio presenters?

j08 Thu 28-Feb-13 14:28:04

I can't stand him either.

kittylester Thu 28-Feb-13 14:26:45

I can't stand him either Orca - I'd much rather listen to 5Live at least until silly Richard Bacon comes on. He loves the sound of his own voice and only listens to his own opinions.

Orca Thu 28-Feb-13 14:22:27

Can't stand him. He doesn't listen to views contrary to his.

j08 Thu 28-Feb-13 14:22:11

Unless you want to of course! smile

j08 Thu 28-Feb-13 14:21:53

that's me, not you sunflower! You don't have to go shopping. smile

j08 Thu 28-Feb-13 14:21:06

He is in Glasgow. Expect he is on holiday there.

ha ha dorset ....no, would NEVER watch him grin

Ana Thu 28-Feb-13 13:34:46

I think you're confusing Jeremy Vine with Jeremy Kyle, dorsetpennt.
Jeremy Vine hosts a radio show on Radio 2.

Marelli Thu 28-Feb-13 13:33:14

No - it's Jeremy Vine they're talking about, dorsetpennt! Not Jeremy Kyle! grin

dorsetpennt Thu 28-Feb-13 13:32:23

'I seen it' ? what am I saying? should be I have seen it blush

dorsetpennt Thu 28-Feb-13 13:31:04

Someone is sitting in for the Jeremy Vile Show? Whatever for? If he's on holiday this could be a chance for a decent programme to be implemented. Not one for out of work chavs with tattoos and rotten teeth. A friend of mine watches it, she says it makes her feel good about herself as so many people seem to live a self-destructive life. I seen it a few times when I'm visiting her and he just seems to shout at his 'guests' [why do they come on TV in the worst clothes immaginable], his favoured comment seems to be 'put something on it'

sunflowersuffolk Thu 28-Feb-13 12:41:35

got me worried now, think I'm going mad
