This is a very funny comedy starring Miranda Hart on BBC. It really is hilarious, I am usually laughing all the way through, I do recommend it.

I really like it too, cheelu. She's really talented, isn't she - great in Call the Midwife as Chummy!

Same here - she is fabulous. And love her (well the actress) in the Midwife too.

I love her too, she's so funny. An aside, her dad was a naval officer I believe, served in the Falklands war.

I just love Miranda, it's one of the few things I laugh out loud at. It's very visual humour and a bit slapstick so won't appeal to everyone. In fact we had a bit of a row over Christmas dinner as one of my sons said that there were no funny women on TV!! My daughter and I put him right by reeling off quite a few, including Victoria Wood - see other posts on this subject.

Tell your son to watch Hyperdrive; that's when I first saw Miranda on television. A comedy series that seemed to slip through the net but I thought it was brilliant [I must buy the dvd].
