Im hoping this is the last time I have to pay £21 to renew my driving licence....tut

As I'm coming up to 79, I've recently renewed mine for the third time and the photo is the one I provided when I got my first photo licence 9 nears ago. I looked younger then sad

I just turned 70 and got a new one ...free! But you have to renew every 3 years I think.

Got reminder few weeks ago that my Photo Card Driving licence was due for renewal.

It was £10 last time (10 yrs ago)

Today it was £21 [shock}

Would have only been £14 if I had had new passport(not sure why as Im think would have still had to have new photo)

Anyway in ten yrs I will be 74 ish..lol

So presume after 70 you don't need to keep having new photos? at a cost of whatever.
