Has anyone changed their travelling plans ...

We had always spoken about retiring to Spain and the thought of Brexit gave us the push to get over there and get all our paperwork in order before B day. We now await what will happen, but no one over here is getting themselves into a spin about it. What will be will be!

I would have thought that anyone currently on a cruise or holidaying anywhere, would be having too much of a good time to be on GN.
I certainly won't be on here when on my hols.

My partner and I are going to Lisbon, Cadiz, Faro, and Alicant, Malaga and Palma... so what is to change...

Europe needs tourist money and it is a fab continent...

With a No deal Brexit you will need an international driving license and not sure if your E11 card will cover health insurance

Obviously you, your Dsis and the guide don't understand the Schengen Agreement/ area.
What this means is: that once you enter the Schengen area you are free to travel within it without showing your passport.
An example: we will be driving to Bulgaria this year. We will not be showing our passport until we enter Romania. Although Romania is in Europe they are not in the Schengen area.

They're having passport control as you disembark at Yarmouth, Ryde and Cowes Jalima. And of course you'll have to change your money to Wight currency too. Not sure about innoculations though? Of course, if OPs predictions are correct, the IOW could also be annexed after Brexit, in which case you'll be marooned there. Can I come with you?

Granny23, I don’t know who Dsis booked with but we cruised the Danube with a mixed group inc Japanese, Brits and US citizens last year and have others booked this year and next year, again with a similar mixture. Like your Dsis there was only one passport check for everyone at the start. Maybe we’ll have to show them more often, who knows?

Well, if I want to go over to the IOW I'd better take my passport - I could be stuck on a ferry going to and fro on the Solent for years otherwise.

I've not noticed any of the travel companies reducing their advertisements for holidays or flights on tv or national newspapers lately. Surely if they would end up having to bail out thousands of tourists, from far flung destinations around the world, they wouldn't be advertising. And if everyone suddenly stops travelling for tourism and business, travel companies and airlines will crash because of the fear induced self fulfilling prophesies like the OP suggests and not because of Brexit.

Dsis did a river cruise on the Danube last year which took them through 5 Countries. Passports were checked at beginning of cruise and thereafter they crossed borders (sometimes during the night) with no further checks necessary. Dsis asked the guide what would happen if the UK brexited. The guide said it was simple - they would no longer advertise these cruises to UK citizens, as having them on board would entail going through customs checks at every border, which would seriously reduce cruising time and inconvenience other EU nationals who did not require border checks. It was already the case that they did not accept USA, Japanese, etc tourists, only EU citizens to avoid this problem.

No, going a on a river cruise in April come what may. Will let the holiday company deal with problems.

Last minute news, in addition to my wet weekend in Skeggy we are visiting Pitcairn, the Maldives and the Cayman Islands.

The staff can deal with the gites and the chateau practically runs itself these days. I believe Bolivia is worth a look along with Sardinia.

Nope 4 holidays booked in Europe between now and August not worried. If anything does happen (which I don't believe it will) hope I'm forced to stay in sunnier climes and not allowed back into UK. Not sure my boss would be impressed though
