I joined 5W (Women Welcome Women World Wide) before travelling solo to NZ some years ago. I stayed with members and it was a wonderful experience staying with locals and benefiting from local knowledge and hospitality. There are members all over the world many in Australia and the US as well as the uk. I meet with local members to where I live (Manchester) and we have had some lively discussions sharing our life experiences travel and otherwise.
