I just want to praise this wonderful site.
If you are an independent traveller it is wonderful. My latest example. I want to go from Alicanti to Sete ( in France).
I was given sooo much information.

Oh thanks Petra, looks like a really good site to explore. I love researching future trips, it's part of the holiday for me.

When I saw the title Virtual Tourist, that was me over Easter being a bit bored - I was google earthing places like the Taj Mahal, Lake Garda etc and enjoying making the little yellow man walk round the area. When booking a holiday it's another good way to choose the right place for you. That's if its on the map of course.
