I don't know about this, Lovetopaint - I always redeem my points when there's the double points event on in the Autumn (which I hope is going to be reinstated this year). I really don't get on with the Nectar app though. I get sent offers of extra points by email all the time, go to my app, save them, and there they sit, saying they're saved and claiming that if I go to my online account they'll be there waiting for my next shop. They never are. I've rung Nectar and Sainsburys in the past and they each blame the other and can't sort it out.
