M&Co in Godalming are having a big sale ATM so I presume their other stores are too.

I bought these suede boots last year in their January sale, reduced from £48 to £20 then £15 at the till.
The only pair and just my size.
I didn't have time to go in today anyway.
No more shopping till the C word. ?

His ads for ladies nightwear used to be on the back page of ? magazine.
No idea which one.
I looked online and the clothes look colourful and classic.
You might show and tell when your items arrive (if you don't mind) as I think it's nice to see other people's choices. ?

Gabriella, I also bought a pair in the sale, the same colour.
I still haven't worn them, or a cerise pink pair with a cone heel, I bought. in the sale at TU.
They are really dressy, but a bit bright! ?
I was tempted to buy a yellow pair , with a low block heel, in Primark the other day, then "chickened out". . I wish I had now!

Not particularly autumn wear, but I bought this jump suit from Sainsbury's this week. I had been admiring it for some time, and wishing I were tall and slim enough to get away with it. Egged on by the DGDs who were shopping with me, I tried it on, lo and behold, perfect fit and length. Planning on wearing some nice heeled sandals with it. And it was half price in the sale - £9!

dragonfly, about six months ago, I bought a jumpsuit from Sainsbury's in the sale. Initially, I was frightened I would look like mutton, dressed as lamb.
Wearing it, I got a backhanded compliment from DH. "That's lovely, it makes you look slimmer".

It was a perfect fit, which was surprising, as I'm so small!
I tried one from Next and the crotch was at my knees!!

It is good to find a bargain in the sales. My most favourite coat of all time is a black full length with a fur collar - it was in BHS's sale about 20 years ago and I still drag it out every winter. It's seen me though several dress size changes from a 10 up to 14 and back again and now on the up again - must get it out and taken to the cleaners for it's next winter wearing. Just a shame I have cats as it's always got fur round the bottom too

I love the jumpsuits that are around at the minute although not sure I would have the courage to actually wear one . What a boring fart I am . I can’t get that Wrap Trench coat out of my mind and have been back to the site to look at it a few times. Does anyone know what the sizing is like ? Do you go for your normal size or size up/down? Not saying I’m going to buy it mind you, it’s far too expensive, I couldn’t possibly... just asking for a friend .

After all this talk of A/W styling I narrowly escaped buying a very nice red coat in John Lewis yesterday! The shop windows are so tempting with the lovely Autumn colours they are “pushing” but fortunately I saw sense, remembering that I have two large bags of winter clothes in the loft and need to see what I have got first before I buy any more!

That looks fab, what a bargain BlueSapphire and you can still wear it during the autumn if the weather is kind. Lots of lovely colours you can pick out to co-ordinate with sandals, bags etc.
I always say that if it fits, you can afford it and it makes you smile...buy it. ??

On the subject of trench coats I bought a beautiful vintage Burberry coat on eBay last year for £60 .

I researched and bided my time until a petite one in the warm honey colour came along and pounced

They are now almost £1400 new and very inferior quality.

Oh I need you to come up here and sort my wardrobe out for me Gabriella . I have a few nice bits (not designer mind you) but am clueless as to what to wear with them. I have 2 or 3 lovely (to me) skirts that I have never worn as I can’t match a top to them. What a waste.

That was a savvy move. You couldn't be more on trend if you tried.Classics never go out and I like the look but I don't suit double breasted coats or jackets and Burberry trenches are usually double breasted.

Gawd, what is everyone wearing today, now that Autumn suddenly came upon us?

It's bright, sunny and a bit nippy - had planned to get a few last outing in my cream jeans with a short jacket but all of a sudden they look too summery!

I’m in my shorts, sleeveless top and bare feet Riverwalk I can’t do layers yet and can never think about putting my sandals away until October.

As I would be Beechnut but I'm going out to lunch!

Quite nice here in Manchester I am getting ready to meet my sister for lunch..white jeans from mint velvet last year,Karen Millen fine knit jumper in black with Voila emblazoned across the front and black pointy flats from mango ,all bought in the sales for about £180 in all

Just about to walk to the garden centre; I am wearing skinny blue jeggings, blue and white striped t-shirt, and bronze sandals from Cotton Traders. Might pop a light cardi on as it felt a bit nippy when I hung the washing out a few minutes ago. I shall probably change into denim shorts when I get back and do a spot of tidying in the garden (sit in the sun with the Sunday papers and a drink......). Who said that?

I like Niepers dressing gowns.

My guilty secret is clothes. I love them, particular natural quality fibres. I dress classically and they last for ever, so not too bad, but clothes are a real weakness of mine.
