Eyebrows and microblading

My eyebrows have disappeared to the point that I have only a few fine hairs where they once were. I admit to overplucking to achieve the Biba look in the 1970's but it's only fairly recently that they've disappeared. I had a total hysterectomy and their disappearance seems to have coincided with the disappearance of my ovaries!

I saw the GN topic today showing various ways of enhancing what you have and I'm interested in the microblading technique. The thing is, as I don't have eyebrows, I'm wondering how the technician would know the shape to go with. Do they draw them in first to get approval from the customer?

Has anyone had this procedure? Can anyone offer advice?

Thin eyebrows used to be all the rage. I like mine because I'm used to the style. My daughter, however, is constantly trying to get me to microblade them into a larger shape. Much as I adore her, coming from someone with what looks like two slugs perched on her forehead I'm not convinced!

Go for it. i have very very light eyebrows and i got them tattooed, they have lasted a year without me going for a top up. I must warn you they look terrible when first done very very dark but after a week PERFECT.Its the best thing i have ever done.( i am not one for make up more a soap and water with a bit cream slapped on)

I had my eyebrows microbladed about 18 months ago. It cost £250, then £100 about 12 months later for a top up. I still havent had the top up yet, as they have only literally, the past month, started to look a bit faded.
It’s one of the best £250 I’ve ever spent. It made my eyes loom much more awake, and made me look younger too. I’d recommend it to anyone.
It’s more uncomfortable, than painful. And when you firs5 have it done they look a tad dark, but it settles down to a nice shade within about a week. I’d say, go for it !

The shape of your face plays an enormous role in deciding how your eyebrows are going to be styled. There are many different face shapes, and it's quick and simple to figure out which one yours resembles most.
So Your technician will analyze your facial features and determine what kind of brow will best suit on your face.
The success of the microblading procedure can depend on the person who performing it.
so It is my advise to go with a professional Microblading specialist for getting the most effective results.
