Eyeliner for sensitive eyes

I've been wearing make-up for many years, but suddenly I've become very sensitive to eyeliner. My eyes become very red and weepy. Have tried so called hypo allergenic eyeliners, but still I'm getting the problem. Any one have the same problem and can recommend a good eyeliner to use?

I do wonder why this is under Legal and Money!! confused

I gave up on eye liner some years ago, just occasionally smudge a bit of eyeshadow with a cotton bud above the lashes .
