Evening all,
As some will know, a while ago I prevailed upon my poor hairdresser to strip all remaining red colour from my hair!
I now have about 2 inches of natural colour (white!) the rest is the champagne/ash dye that was applied after the red was stripped out.
The very ends are still a bit dry (see "bag on head" thread) .
Well, I spotted a temporary hair colour in Morrison's, lasts about 8 washes. There were 2 options, silver or steel. I went for the silver.
It says it should be used on pre-lightened hair, does mine qualify?
Also says to use a clarifying shampoo before applying. Now, I know what clarifying shampoo is, but don't really want to buy any when I have loads of shampoo in the cupboard.
So, 2 questions, firstly should I give this stuff a go (it isn't a permanent colour, see previous info) and secondly, do think adding a drop of white vinegar or lemon juice to my usual shampoo would make it have the same effect as a clarifying one?
Many thanks in advance!
