Fabulous tennis today

I haven’t seen a lot of the coverage of Queens as we have been away for a few days in Wales and then this afternoon DS took his dad and I out for lunch today with it being Fathers Day. I did manage to catch the end of the final today and oh I say Berrettini ??? perhaps Wimbledon won’t be so dull now Rafa won’t be there ?

The best player won the match and I look forward to seeing him at Wimbledon.
Note to self: yes, Berrettini is 6ft 5 ins of Italian loveliness.
But … must remember he is 25 yrs old and young enough to be my grandson! ?

They both are- and so refreshing to see younger newcomers- wonderful.

GB’s Cam Norris has just won a semi final at Queen’s against Shapovalov in straight sets. Very encouraging.
He will now be in the final tomorrow against Italy’s Berrettini.

Mark Petchey goes on and on about such technical stuff. He drives me mad. I’ve played tennis for many years but his obsession with different spin rotations, serve placements et al is so unnecessary. I kept muting the tv during the French to shut him up!

I've watched two matches today accompanied by the sound of our workman drilling concrete. Much better when you can't hear the verbose commentators.
