jess agree about the flower official... pointed it out to DH ..what a laugh! I am thouroughly enjoying the ceremony..other than the scottish singer, (Emine Sands?) felt she was not vocally great! And linking to the thread about school sports..do not tell me those non competitive dancers are not keeping fit!!

BTW I heard the person responsible for the music saying on the radio that all the songs for the ceremony were recorded and the singers all miming. Do you think that was true or was he taking the p***?

But we are not responsible for what the IOC guy does. We are responsible for putting on a great show. Sorry, I'm not the least bit embarrassed even though I don't know who most of them are!

I'm told Darcy Bussell will be on later, can't wait to see what she is like now as I never was a big fan.
