Ozzy our lovely German Shepherd is such a big part of the family. He keeps us all happy and healthy. He loves his walks and cuddles and is always ready to lift our spirits when one of us feels down. He truly is a tonic in a fur coat.

My adorable Labrador was my life line when I was diagnosed with breast cancer last year. When going through chemotherapy he would come and lie on the bed next to me when the days after treatment were incredibly tough to get through. He would put his head on my lap when I cried, he was the only one to see me cry, he never spilled the beans when the day was rough and I divulged my deep thoughts to him. He still loved me deeply when I lost my hair and I looked as rough as anything. I don’t know how I would of got through it all with out him..I truly love him to bits. ??
Our dog is the only reason we lease the house most days 
With my depression at an all time low Honi makes me walk in the fresh air and socialize when all I want to do is shut myself away.
She also brings me unconditional love and companionship, I'm lucky I have lots of people around me but she is the best at lifting me when down.
We don't have a dog now - we're away from home too much and wouldn't be able to look after one properly. But the five dogs I grew up with over the years were my trusty and faithful companions and I have wonderful memories of them. Apparently the golden labrador who was part of the family when I was born would guard my pram when I was out in the yard, and refuse to let anyone in. I doubt it went down too well with the family who shared the yard, mind, especially as their toilet was out there.
After the heartbreak of losing our elderly dog to cancer, life just wasn't the same. The house wasn't home any more. We found Harvey, a beautiful chocolate labrador at the local animal shelter. He had been there six months and no interest had been shown because he was an elderly boy aged around 11. We were looking for an older boy and Harvey fitted the bill.
