Everyone has different styles when it comes to decorating the house for Christmas; some of us have our go-to decorations while others like to mix it up with different themes or something new each year. Homebase would like to know what you'd pick from their range to refresh your collection of decorations and have on display in your home (budget no issue smile).

Here’s what Homebase has to say: “At Homebase we have everything you need to make your Christmas sparkle, from trees and baubles, to giant inflatables and twinkly lights. Click here to check out our Christmas range and please share your favourite decorations below.”

How about this snowy tree? Or a Poinsettia Wreath for your door? Or even some cute Santa fairy lights?

To get you in the mood, here's some tips on decorating your tree:

Have a look at the site and share what would make it into your basket this year! Everyone who posts on the thread will be entered into a prize draw to win a £300 voucher of their choice (from a list).

Thanks and good luck!

300 multi-coloured lights please, my tree lights died last year. I can’t grumble they’ve done well.

I really like the idea of the bauble wreath but we have to tie ours to the door knocker and it blows in the wind and rattles the knocker so I don’t think it would last long.

I would love the snowy tree to have in my DDs Conservatory whilst the outside of the conservatory is decorated with the outdoor lights so taking the indoors into the garden where we can enjoy more space and enjoy warm glasses of mulled wine whilst being kept warm with a Homebase outdoor heater.

Small is beautiful for me! I would love the tiny decorated real tree with snowflake garland. I always used to have a real tree when I had family at home - part of joy of Christmas was going out with the children, choosing the tree and beinging it home. After a recent autumn when I was quite poorly and too weak and wishy washy to go out and choose a tree, I bought an artificial one...the children are long gone and are choosing trees of their own, which is lovely. The artificial one is good and looks the part, but it's not as joyous ...and I so miss the scent of a real tree! So a little tiny real one would be a lovely addition to my Christmas decor.

For me, it's the inflatable Santa and helicopter. My 2 year old DGD is obsessed with helicopters. She would love this.☺️

The first item would be the 24 Inch Silver Glitter Tipped Pre-Lit Wreath in my basket. Second is AA batteries to operate it`s LED lights. My door wreath is from a car boot sale. This is so my nicer.

The 24 Inch Holly and Berry Pre-Lit Wreath looks beautiful

The 6ft slim artificial christmas tree would be perfect for my new wall-knocked-down-all-one-room-now kitchen/diner. There will be room for some new christmas decorations, and a slim tree would be ideal.

granjan15 Sun 26-Nov-17 20:53:24

I would choose the Forest Fruits Twig Wreath.

Nandalot Sun 26-Nov-17 19:49:20
