For the last hour every time I click on anything on the site, up pops a privacy pop up, I’ve accepted cookies a dozen times and looked at the other options but I’m still getting the pop up from Gransnet saying ‘your privacy is important to us’ how do I stop it please? ?
Glad to see it’s not just me! It even happens when I go to the next page of comments on a posting! Grrh! Every move I make I am asked to accept . Even coming on here, there it was, before I signed in.
NfkDumpling - logging onto a site and seeing the privacy thing once would be reasonable - but for me, and others, it’s popping up every time you click on a thread, click on a post, etc etc on GN
It’s not just GN. Every site I’ve looked at this morning has started with the privacy thing. Bank, local council, Adini.... everything except Facebook. I’m wondering why not Facebook, is my privacy not important to them?!
Sorry this is taking longer than we expected to fix. We thought it was just an issue with Safari but it seems from the posts on this thread that this is happening across all browsers. We are continuing to work on a fix and will let you know as soon as we have a solution.
It’s started happening for me too not every time but too frequently it’s very annoying You shouldn’t have to agree more than once you don’t on any other sites Even an annual agreement would be fine
I've been on GN this morning without any problems, then out of the blue it popped up, when I was reading something!
It also doesn't matter which browser I'm on, it's still happening! Once you have set and saved your preferences to comply with GDPR regulations , there should be no need to keep stating your preferences every time you post.
