Why not highlight the thread headings so that they are different to the posters' names?

I see that one's own posts are highlighted on the GN mobile site, but not the OP's posts.
Both are highlighted on Mumsnet.

Maybe GNHQ techies are beavering away and sorting out all these things, as we moan.

Why use a serif font? It is always much more difficult to read. Mumsnet has a much clearer sans serif font though for Gransnet it could be a little larger. I use an iPad, no idea if this makes a difference, but would appreciate it if the OP's contributions could be highlighted, (as seems to be the case on this thread but not with non GNHQ threads) ŵwith any contribution to the discussion that I make highlighted in a different colour. This would make the thread much easier to follow. The logo is dire. Very WW2.

I have just come on this thread in error. I intended to go onto another on my 'I am on' area. It really is too difficult to sort out.

Not run together in the thread, but run together when I arrive at 'I'm on'......

I like the larger text, and the font is ok by me.

BUT I'm having great difficulty separating the posts which are all run together - and the blue headings are not different enough from the posts.

ALSO everything is floating around and not nicely confined in boxes, so more difficulty in sorting out and finding what I want to click on!

Dismayed at the number of regular, intuitive posters who say they have had enough. Can't blame them at all - we have enough to contend with without being treated as mice in a laboratory ...

Ive also selected 1000 posts per page - not working on the phone. I obviously need to remember to bookmark, but right now there's too much going on in my life for he need to surface. Maybe I'll stick to RL for a bit.

Looking at the list of threads on "I'm On" is really tedious because of the way it's all run together. (Desktop site)
"Active" seems to be okay.

Forget my second question, I now realize that it refers to the things in the right margin.

On my 'watched' list there is a box which can be ticked in the left margin part way down, opposite to the details of last post in the right. What is that all about? It doesn't seem to change anything if checked.
Also, what does 'Replieslatest by' mean at the top right?

'last hour' would benefit (as it did previously) from displaying the last few comments, in the same was as 'I'm On' does.
