glassortwo you obviously don't remember the Izal toilet paper! It was very like greaseproof paper, and was not at all absorbent!
Oh I do [anagram] in fact my Mum worked as a Lab assistant for the company who made Izal, in fact I worked there for a while after I left college in the early 70's, great company to work for then, and a good staff shop
Izal was very good for geography homework - tracing the outline of Australia for instance!

ello ello ello whos taking my name in vain here...hello soop,hello frilends,I went to a Hen night on saturday my repertoire went down ,very well ,whilst standing on a chair all though it was a repertoire more suited to that occassion, I wouldnt want you to think that I am rowdy, my Izal,comb, and spoons routine is especially reserved for our get togethers by the way soop are you Flanagan or Allen fur makes my nose sneeze so can I be the one without the hat and coat.......Izal was good for a lot of things except wiping your bum,but it did smell nice ,the paper I mean not my bum

nellie...and I'll be the one in the very long fur coat. I'm a short-arsed 5' 2" so we may have to lop a good slice off the hem. Wouldn't want my crutches to get in a twist. Let's twist and shout...now which era was that?
Anyone remember the healthy twang of a tablet of carbolic soap? My father used to slap HOT poltice [how do you spell the word?] on any septic grazes - pain sent me through the roof, but the smell was weirdly comforting 
I'm a little off course...thought that I was on the 'smells I remember thread'.
soop no your not off course as I offered to play my comb with Izal toilet paper on and suggested that it wasnt good for the purpose for which it was intended as it was too slidey as it had a shiny side and wasnt very absorbent and wasnt very gentle either but it did smell nice,and was good for other uses.
Now getting back to being verticaly challenged I am also 5'2'' and as all good things come in little packages suggest you sit on my shoulders and we can drape the coat around both of us making us as one,we could recruit the other one ...any suggestions or volunteers....soop you can then put your redundant crutch in the pocket or wave it gaily in the air in time to the music.

thanks glass but I might bang soops head on the ceiling,especially as I tend to bounce around when excited or dancing in time with the music but I do appreciate the offer,would suggest asking soop if she would like to borrow them,but then her crutch wouldnt be long enough and would be totally redundant.
Bags why syrup tins are Baked bean tins not suitable any more.

. You could always walk behind me and hold the long coat aloft like a page carrying her Majesty's cloak. Which of us wears the battered hat? My husband has one going spare. If not, I can jump on his good one. Mustn't let the side down. You'll make a fine screech on your comb. I've a half decent mouth organ. Shall I polish it up and practice blow...suck suck...or what?
But soop we may get mistaken for a pantomime horse,and I wont be able to hold my comb and blow if I am holding on the end and bringing up the rear as I much as I like you I dont want to be behind you when you are blowing perhaps we should get you a tambourine,you can play that one handed and hold your crutch as well [hmmm] unfortunately I dont look good in a hat

Oh dear, I can't get the picture out of my head of soop playing the tambourine one handed while holding her crutch....
