flipping immigrants (light hearted)

Parakeets have taken over my town. They are set to establish their own colony, but the local magpies and seagulls are having none of it.
I enjoy them all, but do " tell" the above groups that they might be birds, but the noise they make us definitely not birdsong.

They like Scotland, home from home.

We had a large flock of redwings one year when it was cold and snowy, they made a lot of noise as though they were all arguing about something! They disappeared as quickly as they arrived and haven't seen them since.

I've seen redwings here but not for a few years.

Just flipping pigeons, sparrows and thankfully a few blackbirds.

Tits! Stupid phone!

Tots??? Tots!

We just get magpies, parakeets, wood pigeons, a few tots, robins, the odd wren - but no finchy things, no redwings, bramblings, and no sparrers or starlings. What are we doing wrong? We also have the fattest squirrels in the history of the world.

I haven’t seen any Redwings for years. The first time I saw one in my garden I thought it was an injured thrush.

Pigeons have been clearing all the berries in our garden. Not many other birds to be seen sadly, just the odd blackbird.
