Me too Galaxy When she was questioned (when in the pink boat protest) about her huge carbon footprint by flying first class rather than economy her reply was she was 'too old' to fly economy and anyway she offset her carbon emissions. That there would be loads of people older than her, some with disabilities etc all packed into economy doesn't register in her brain. Perhaps just being plebs they don't count.

My daughter was there - she is a marine conservationist. She said that the atmosphere was wonderful. I hope that they make a difference somehow.

Flying in general makes me wince as I live under a Heathrow flightpath. Personally I don't think that anybody should make unnecessary flights. Sometimes we can actually see the planes dumping surplus fuel from their wings prior to landing - though we are of course told that this never happens.

I live in a very rural area & I’ve noticed there’s no longer a dawn chorus…. surely something has gone terribly wrong? I’ve also noticed a shortage of insects, particularly honey bees 🐝 I don’t mind who leads a protest in support of Restore Nature Now, as long as it happens.

It would help if they would stop allowing developers to make millions to build houses no-one can afford on green land instead of providing affordable/social housing on brownfield land.
