New DVLA scam

I've just received an email:

^TAX/Vehicle69918 <[email protected]>

Welcome,

Our system has notified us that your current vehicle tax is not up to date.

This is the last (v11) reminder we will issue you.

Currently your vehicle is legally not allowed to be on the road..

Please visit the DVLA portal below in order to renew your vehicle tax.

If the is supposedly from the DVLA, the email address is in no ways legitimate. My vehicle is taxed and up to date (renewal is around June).

Be on the lookout! I've not clicked on the link in the email but I'm reporting it.

I had that the same e mail this afternoon, I was instantly suspicious as I was pretty sure I’d taxed my vehicle last month but did check to be sure. I opened it and blocked & reported but didn’t click on any links. So sick of these scams! Thanks for highlighting this, many people could easily get caught out!
