I honestly don't understand what women see in older men ( apart from money of course ) I'm 51 & the thought of having sex with a 63 year old turns my stomach - but sorry you're going through this. Personally, I wouldn't waste a second of my time crying over him. He's dumped you after all this time & you want him back?

I'm sure that Kacee has all sorts of conflicting emotions but unless a marriage has been very unhappy or abusive, after 40 years it's easier said than done to just say "good riddance".

Whilst I am not prepared to discuss our sex life on an open forum I do find bee63's post quite insulting. I am 53 and very happily married to my DH who is 63...... and for the record I certainly didn't marry him for his money as he doesn't have any !

I am not much older then you, bee63 , a friend is your age and her OH is 70 and very fanciable indeed! Also not rich!

Kacee I can't lie to you, it is going to take ages to get over it, the hurt and rejection, I think he may be an extremely selfish man.

My own DBH is a good-looking man who looks younger than his years. There are always lots of females trying to chat him up. I would never try to steal another woman's OH, sadly there are many who would - and one almost did. I know it takes two, but I have been amazed to find out how many women seem to think nothing of trying to find something a bit better than what they have, and don't seem to care about the devastation they cause. I used to think it was all men chasing women, I have certainly had my eyes opened.

Listen, I don't know what you are hinting at, but I asked a perfectly civil question about the circumstances of Kacee's errant husband's fancy woman and suddenly I 'm getting snide remarks about "you two" frightening her off.
Please explain. Just tell me which posts you think might have done that. And if you can't then stop making sarky comments.
