If you smear some vaseline just at the bottom of each nostril (not too much !) it will help trap pollen from going up into your nose !
I only do this when I am doing work in the garden, I wouldn't apply vaseline if I were to be going anywhere , where I want to impress anyone, as the nose can look a little 'shiny' ! Don't want to be looking a complete fool do you I . Lord knows its bad enough with the red nose and runny swollen eyes!
