NOT a plug!

Just now, on the Michael McIntyre programme, " I need a plug, have you got a plug I can use?

If you needed a plug, you would probably also need a screwdriver (straight, not cross type) and possibly even something to strip the covering from the wires.

I know, in the grand scheme of things, it's not important, but in Pedants' Corner, it definitively qualifies!

Does anyone remember Rowan and Martin's Laugh-In when the young Goldie Hawn was always the victim of a bucket of water following the line "sock it to me"? "It may be a plug to you but it's a socket to me" was just one occasion.

What he wanted was a plug hole, not a plug!
The boots were hilarious! TBH I can't stand the programme but DH likes to watch. I do other stuff while its on but sometimes see odd bits - those boots were the oddest yet!
