Who has hosted the Afghan women’s cricket team banned by the Taliban, they are now in exile, many in Australia.

Well done! Hosted them where and how? I’m assuming you mean here in the UK?
Such brave women!

Clarence House, he often, apparently, meets other touring sports teams. BBC news.

The King met them today, I think,at Clarence House.
It is on the BBC website.

I love his quiet approach to diplomacy. Actions speak louder than words.

LemonJam Wed 24-Jun-26 20:41:40

Excellent diplomacy- soft power speaks volumes on occasion. Others need to take note….

He has really come into his own now he is King. He has dealt very well with the problems that Harry & AMW have caused. He smiles and laughs much more than he used to. He seems a happy man and Camilla has to take a large part of the credit for that.

I too am a King Charles fan!

Samwam Thu 25-Jun-26 11:32:25

Lownie is working on a new book. Apparently Charles and Edward were also involved with Epstein, in some way.

henetha Thu 25-Jun-26 11:45:46

I would be devastated if this meant that Charles, and Edward, were involved with Epstein in the same way that Andrew was.
Surely not.

Dulostwo11 Thu 25-Jun-26 13:48:23

Send this Charles king to France.
They will know what to do with him.

Georgesgran Thu 25-Jun-26 13:55:19

Who is Charles King Dulostwoll?

I wasn’t a fan, but the King has really gone up in my expectations.

M0nica Thu 25-Jun-26 14:05:36

You mean all those holidays at Balmoral were really just lookalikes, really the whole RF were away playing games on some exotic islands in the Caribbean with Epstein? Wow!!

Jaxjacky Thu 25-Jun-26 14:16:57

Sawwam where did you read that? I can’t find anything.

jomo Thu 25-Jun-26 14:21:53

This.

I am much more impressed with him than I expected to be. The body language of those who meet him seems to indicate that he is good with people.

The way that Charles and Edward MIGHT have become innocently caught up with, and involved with Epstein in the past, would not have been to do with Epstein's various perversions, but because Epstein appeared to have a talent for making vast amounts of money. Charles, before he was King, was always looking for ways to raise large amounts of money for his various charities - especially his beloved Prince's Trust. Remember, he once accepted a carrier bag filled with millions of pounds, or dollars, from an Arab Sheik?
Today it is considered that was illegal money that Charles had innocently collected for his charity, and that the money will have most likely been "laundered" from some extremely dubious business dealings elsewhere.

I have had a look at the source, it looks really good and reliable with lots of strong connections. I see it has all the details of the Prince and Princes of Wales divorce.

Thankyou Samwam

We recently spent a day at Dumfries House and were so impressed. Yes King Charles is extremely wealthy himself but the way he rescued the house and created so many jobs in a deprived are,the 15,000 apprenticeships for young people created by the King's Foundation, his commitment to the environment and heritage crafts all speak to me of a genuinely good man.
