Little Noah, missing 3 year old

A 3 year old boy is missing in Brantham, Suffolk since 3pm yesterday.

Little Noah is partially deaf, and non-verbal and “allegedly” ran out of a park and down an alleyway whilst out with his grandfather.

I truly hope and pray that this little lad is found very soon, safe and sound, and returned to his family who must be frantic.

😢😢😢

Poor little scrap. I hope he's found soon. How awful for everyone concerned, my thoughts are with them.

I take your point, I used the word “allegedly” as it’s just currently hearsay from others in the park, who say that they saw him running off out of the play park and down an alleyway.

It wasn’t intended as a slur to the grandfather, however, very sadly past events have shown that unfortunately those in charge of a child are not always blameless. None of us actually know what happened.

Also, it’s true to say that these scenarios do sometimes have the very worst outcomes.

I’m praying this little one is hidden somewhere dry and safe and will be found unscathed, other than very scared.

This is every parent and grandparents worst nightmare.
Impossible to imagine how anguished the family must be feeling.
Let’s hope there’s good news soon.

I fear something dreadful has happened to this little boy. I hope i'm wrong but that big pond really worries me.😟

This made my heart lurch. My best friends grandson is older but also autistic, non verbal, no sense of danger and can run like the wind.

I really hope I’m wrong but this doesn’t sound good to me

So sad.
I’m a grandmother who regularly looks after my young grandchildren and I constantly worry about. ‘something going wrong’ - and by this I mean they break their arm or something. To lose them ( and it’s a lot easier than some people think ) must be unbearable and my heart goes out to the entire family - I hope & pray little Noah is found safe and well.

Grannygravy it’s been all over FB since it happened and as I live in Suffolk (not near there, it’s a big county) but Suffolk police have been giving regular updates Indeed I spoke about it in another thread yesterday but no one commented I don’t think

I m so worried about that little boy but I m also so concerned for the grandad who I believe fell over trying to grab him as he ran obviously by the time granddad got up he’d disappeared That poor man imagine going home and telling your daughter or son you d lost their child.

I too am fearful of the water which I think is a tidal river He could be in the sea which is awful to contemplate

Boz How can you not find a baby that wanders off from a playground. How far can he walk? This scenario is very puzzling . It’s not puzzling at all he ran, 3 year olds can run fast, the grandad tried to catch him and fell over by the time he got up, there was sign of him. It’s not a puzzle at all very easy to happen

Oh no. That poor little boy. That poor family.

I'm keeping close tabs on the situation as I have friends living there. On the BBC news thread it said (about 10 mins ago) that 'a body has been found'...now the thread has gone, so I don't know what's going on.

I'm hoping it was a mistake..

boheminan Wed 16-Sept-26 17:43:37

...unfortunately the thread has appeared again

So very sad to read this. Everyone will be hugging their little ones closer tonight. Dreadful as it is, I find myself a little relieved that it was nothing more nefarious.
Poor Grandfather, families never get over such tragedy. 😢
