Let’s not forget that Farage has openly said the if they get elected become the next government they will push through all of their policies immediately. Which makes me think of the way that Trump is planning to overrule the results of the mid terms.

Thanks NotSpaghetti So basically, Delo ran a very profitable organisation that allowed criminals to launder their money from drugs, trafficking people, robbing their own citizens etc. He dealt with Iranians without making checks as to where their money was coming from and is complaining that the law "went after them". Quelle surprise! Innocent people just doing regular business they are not! This is exactly why there needs to be strong laws around the use of crypto currency rather than the laissez faire regulation that Farage and his ilk want. That's what Harborne and Delo are buying and Farage is selling, an open door for criminals to launder their ill gotten gains.

I know this is about donations but just seen this from Private Eye and thought some of you may like to see it.

Now I read that Essex (Reform Run Council) has set up paid and funded security controls in Chelmsford, Colchester and Braintree.

Funded from a drawdown of a charity draw-down of £150,000.

It’s to make people feel “safe” from the bus load of migrants who are bussed into their large towns/Cities once or twice a week.

The Conservative Leader in Braintree local Council has specifically asked (several times) NOT to send them to his town. He states very succinctly that crime in his town has reduced, and he fears these security groups will cause anxiety to normal citizens and make them feel their town is no longer safe.

He’s been totally ignored.

These private security guards employed, have no more power than any other normal citizen, so what’s the point? They are not wanted, they appear not to be needed. It’s a three months teial, estimated costs for all three towns £118,000.

It’s also begs the question that if Farage’s £5m bung was just for his security, it must be pretty amazing 😱😱

Yet, there are still so many who don't want to see what is unfolding before them. Masked men in black walking the streets chanting, "whose streets, our streets" are defended because they are "peaceful" protesters. Millions of pounds being given to Reform that are not declared, "well everyone is on the take". No they are not. 72 million donated to Reform by two men who are having to try to prove they are UK citizens, when clearly they are not. "Well, what about the millions Labour get from the Unions?" That money is donated by union members who work and pay tax in the UK, thousands of ordinary men and women who choose to support the union's political choices on their behalf. The question should be, what do these two men want from Farage? What are they buying and what is he selling? I could go on................

Yes, there is definitely an undercurrent of violence.

Arrested for assault and coercive control. It’s impossible not to conclude many Reform supporters share personal as well as political views. Look at the high level of men on anti immigrant marches, encouraged by Reform, have convictions for domestic abuse

Dan Thomas was arrested for assault and controlling behaviour.
Reform goes from bad to worse.

Whitewavemark2 Wed 16-Sept-26 07:44:10

Has there ever been a political party so beset with crime and corruption?

The last welsh reform criminal is serving nearly 11 years at HMP for spying and taking bribes from Russia.

If we listed all the issues it would be enormous!

Maremia Wed 16-Sept-26 07:24:36

So much happening in Reform world just now. Easy to get confused.

NotSpaghetti Wed 16-Sept-26 00:42:49

Sorry I've got my wires crossed.

I completely misread your:
This Reform MS has now announced that she is defecting to Plaid.
As he is defecting...

I took it to mean the arrested one!

Casdon Tue 15-Sept-26 19:03:48

I doubt it somehow. I don’t think the lady who wants to go to Plaid has been formally accepted yet, but she will have more chance I imagine. Not that I’m in favour of politicians crossing the floor, I think there should be a by election.

NotSpaghetti Tue 15-Sept-26 18:58:54

Do Plaid want him?
😬

Maremia Tue 15-Sept-26 18:19:36

Suspicion of assault. Doesn't sound great.

Fallingstar Tue 15-Sept-26 18:18:06

Who next I wonder??
Seems to be a trend.

Casdon Tue 15-Sept-26 18:02:34

I don’t know what is going on here today, perhaps it’s something in the water - we’ve certainly had plenty of it lately.

This Reform MS has now announced that she is defecting to Plaid. That is a pretty extreme change of heart.

Hmm. Arrested on suspicion of assault … bailed pending further inquiries.

Casdon Tue 15-Sept-26 17:03:35

This is big news in Wales. It’s also big news for Reform UK, who went all out to win the Welsh Senedd Election earlier this year.
