My son in the US says people there are getting inured to Trump’s shenanigans. Whereas at one time there’d have been howls of outrage, now people are just shrugging their shoulders with a ‘Well that’s Trump for you,’ attitude. And Trump finds that infuriating - he craves the attention those moves once created and to be ignored is anathema to him.
Ds says everything will revert to their old names once Trump has gone but we speculated that his next move might be to demand that all babies born from now on are to be called Donald or Donaldina.
