Trump has only been in office 4 days
Good Morning Tuesday 23rd June 2026
This was on Facebook 10 hours ago. I have copied the text and copied the photo so it wont affect your FB account.
It's from a US doctor (see photo of mobile health unit) and FYI Delaney Hall is one of the detention centres for those who have committed no crimes but whole families rounded up by ICE.
"My dear friends. Today I was assaulted by an ICE officer while trying to assist a girl who literally had her shirt ripped off by agents.
As I bent down, ICE grabbed me by the shirt and threw me to the ground. I am just back home after the ER. I have a hematoma on my right knee. A hematoma and abrasions on my left eye socket as my face slammed the pavement.
Both hands have abrasions and I am sore. But ok. CaT scan of head and neck and X-rays at the hospital showed no broken bones.
I am horrified. I was wearing my stethoscope. I was asked to render aid to someone hurt and thatās why I went over to that area. All I could think about was Alex Pretti, also a nurse doing similarly to me. He lost his life. And I for a second wondered if I would too
These agents have no control and they do what they want with no impunity.
The conditions in Delaney Hall are horrible. The water is poisoned. The food has worms. There is inadequate medical help. People canāt get there medications. People have a right to protest that kind of treatment of other human beings
Many of you have known me for years. I believe in talking and walking the walk. Thatās why I was there, volunteering medical on a holiday weekend.
This cannot stand.
I canāt thank you enough for all the messages and calls"
Just so's we realise that its still happening and the tactics to make us think of Iran "watch the Squirrel"et al don't work, and its good to see the protests still ongoing.

imaround
I'm here.
The cost of groceries is skyrocketing, so I have been working overtime trying to get my garden in and enjoying our spring.
I saw it is hot over there. My best friend flew into London yesterday and she texted me that she is dying because of the heat. It got me last summer too when I visited.
Hey we rely on you and yes, itās very very hot š„š„š„š„
Good to hear from you, imaround.
It seems that ICE recruitment can attract people who enjoy having the authority to act as thugs with virtually no training, and no consequences.
Thanks Imaround. š
So sorry this is actually happening.
It's so disrespectful when people try to say that reports are exaggerated.

Thank you imaround
Itās good to have the insight of someone like you, whoās actually living this.
I agree
Sorry, I responded to an early post, and should have read all the way through first.
Thanks Imaround
Haha Crossed posts, ignore my last sentence!!!
Iām not going to argue that this isnāt true, the Dr isnāt a Dr and etc.
ICE donāt āpush people aroundā, they injure them, they shoot them, they kill them and none have been held to account.
I do understand this is really hard to take in.
This is underpinned by Trump, the same Trump who in his first term separated young child immigrants from their parents, and imprisoned them separately.
Thereās nothing I read, see or hear about Trump that is too far fetched to be true.
Trump and his ilk disgust me.
Anyone heard from āImaroundā lately? She spoke the truth about her country, whilst remaining in her own country.
Thank you imaround

And lastly. When they do detain someone and have to release them, they are putting people on the streets with nothing. No identification, no money, nothing.

Thanks for sharing this experience
Thank you: great to see you in.
Given that are some in the UK who think they want the same itās salutary.
Thank you imaround.
This is from my local news station.
Not only are the conditions inhumane, in many cases neither family nor lawyer cant find the detainee. Which violated the Constitutional Rights of every person physically in the United States, citizen or not.
No Due Process. In violation of the 14th Amendment.

Sometimes you should believe what you see on the internet.
Here is the truth of what is happening in detention centers in the US.
www.pbs.org/newshour/nation/migrants-face-dire-conditions-and-prolonged-waits-in-u-s-detention-centers
They are buying up warehouses all over the US to house immigrants. States and cities are stopping it as best they can because those building hold up to 8,000 people each and do not have the water supply to hold them.
Oreo
That doesnāt mean she is correct with the poisoned water etc.
Frankly I donāt believe it, tho I do believe that the ICE operatives push people around.
By poisoned water I think it's obvious it's not deliberately poisoned, but so below standard that it is not fit health wise or borderline for the vulnerable to drink. The site IS an Ex Industrial one with toxic metals in the soil.
But if you google all the news reports its clear standards are unacceptable. Trump claimed earlier this year that "they were all criminals" in the centre but they are families
14 hours ago the Governor Sherrill of NJ on a visit to Delaney Hall posted on the situation
www.nj.gov/governor/news/2026/20260525a.shtml#:~:text=%22The%20people%20inside%20Delaney%20Hall,of%20everyone%20within%20our%20borders.%22
"The people inside Delaney Hall are fathers and mothers, sons and daughters, and members of our community. In New Jersey, we believe in the rule of law and that everyone deserves to be treated with basic dignity. We have a duty to safeguard the rights, health, and well-being of everyone within our borders."
As the US doctor quoted in the OP is seemingly a regular poster- I forgive her mis spelling of 'their' and give her post credence, for particularly as it does not seem out of character ICE activities generally- which are very disturbing.
They have. Two famous cases in Mineapolis. And more from rough handling.
Havent they killed people?
Local police are being instructed not to cooperate with them.
Erin Brochvich is still active in her campaigns for clean water. You may check her out on Facebook. I remember the town of Flint being mentioned in her posts.
As for what ICE is capable off?
Disturbing to read about them.
Some jurisdictions are starting to legally challenge their behaviour, for example, calling out some of their killings.
Again, this information is easy to find for yourself.
ICE operatives push people around
well that's an understatement and if you believe that's all they do Oreo I can understand why you don't believe the content of the OP.
