Allira 10.50: "Most comments on here are not trolling, they are considered comments. If someone wants to constantly live in the limelight, troll or gaslight members of their family, one of whom happens to be our Head of State, and also their staff and then surely they should expect some considered criticism in return?
JKR is standing up for the rights of women and some of the trolls who make such vile threats against her should be found, charged and sentenced to imprisonment"
No one has said this post thread is "trolling". No one has said either the royal family or H and M can not be criticised- both are open to scrutiny and comment. In my view some of the comments on this thread are not carefully considered.
My view is that M is trolled more than any other woman in the world and is disproportionate. I have not defended any threats against JKR. Threatening placards at marches are not acceptable. Neither are repeated, actual credible threats on someone's life.
Perhaps Rosie51 or yourself might be interested in finding out more about how M was targeted and received death threats. Just look up the previous Metropolitan Police assistant Commissioner's comments on line as he left his post, Neil Bass.
He said whilst he was in office M faced "disgusting and very real " threats to her life" and were specifically targeted. He said the threats were "disgusting and very real" and "there were MANY serious, credible threats" on her life. "People were arrested and prosecuted"
