Netanyahu is kept in power by ultra extremist Jews who quite frankly have little respect for Christian rights, hence the disgraceful behaviour towards Christians over the Easter period and their disgusting treatment on the West Bank. The bombing of Lebanon is killing and displacing many Christians as well as completely innocent Lebanese who don't support Hezbollah and Trump et al can just look the other way! There isn't a shred of morality in this war despite the Iranian regime (which I whole heartedly condemn!) being portrayed as the aggressor. This war is an utter disgrace to humanity yet there are some who will still find reasons to support it.

I just wonder how much money Trump and others have made out of erratic market movements, how much Trump's son's have made out of their investments in Powerus and how much slush money is finding it's way into Trump's crypto wallet.

As they aren't going to manage to 'enforce Sharia Law across the world' any more than attempts by 'western' countries to enforce Christianity succeeded in the days of Empire, I can't spend too much time worrying about that.

What does worry me is the entrenchment of hatred of 'the other' by both 'sides' in the pursuit of power and territory. All that this warfare is doing is creating a new generation of haters.

Back to the war that never ceased, Trump was “fooled” by BN to open more fully the Pandora’s box between Iran and Israel.

I must admit thinking Vance was setting it up to fail by his rhetoric before he went to the talks.

Iran have said the talks failed due to excessive demands and unlawful requests from the US.
So what happens now? More talks? Back to war?

I think it was inevitable that the peace talks would break down, that's why Vance was sent, so Trump could blame him for the failure. Trump doesn't want to continue the war but perhaps he's looking for a reason that will sway more Americans to support it? That seems likely to me and if persuading them that they will get hit by a nuclear bomb unless the war continues, moves the polls in his favour, will he move troops into Iran?

Listening to the news this morning, apparently Iran, despite it's extreme government actually has a lower percentage of observant Muslims than it's neighbours and Lebanon has 30-40+% Christian population. There was also a piece on the religious programme about how Christians in Israel are being treated, ie spat at, stones thrown at them and being illegally forced to move from the West bank by Jewish settlers. I'm afraid that religious extremism is not confined to one side in this war. This Netanyahu government seems equally happy to kill Christians as well as Iranians who do not support the regime or any of it's proxy terrorist groups.

I read the bit about Iran refusing to compromise its nuclear capabilities. I'm sure there was something about the US and Israel being prepared to make some compromise about their own nuclear weapons, but I missed that too.
