I know very little about missiles but doesn't the distance vary according to the weight of the explosive it's carrying? I think Germany and the UK are probably fairly safe but if Trump bombs Kharg and destroys Iran's capacity to produce oil, Iran will retaliate and then the world will be in an absolute mess for years. FGS those around Trump need to stop this madness before it escalates any further.

The UK is 5,000 km from Iran. I checked.

If the Iranian missiles struggled to reach 3,800km, London isn't within range.

Also, Iran is a very large country and we have no idea where their missiles are sited in relation to the UK.

If there was the remotest chance that a missile could be winging our way we would almost certainly by now have been “practicing” with our phone warnings and know what to expect in this event.

I assume that USA know what missiles they have GrannyGravy13, launching an attack on a place is not necessarily an indication that they actually had the capability to reach it. I suspect MaizieD is correct in assuming that Israel want us to believe they can reach the UK, They want to escalate the war and think we will respond.

US and Israel are waging this war. Trump has attempted, without success, to persuade/bully other allies to join them as active partners. UK/Starmer has made UK's position, to date, clear- thus nothing currently for the UK to "extract' from.
