I would think the Security question out there would be a prime factor too as Trump may have removed Maduro, but the reginpme behind him is still running things whatever Trump may say!

He may have fallen for her originally, but she is no longer convenient for him as an Indian… been keeping an eye on this. As a career woman I get the impression she intensely dislikes all these politics. A much nicer more intelligent woman than most politicians wives

Quite agree, if he should ‘fall’ somehow, there’s Vance propped up by Miller et al who are the moving forces behind all this. Vance swings in the wind depending on benefit to him! All nasty misogynistic white supremacists, and so called ‘Christians’ etc. All wanting to get back to an idealised 1930s/50s where white men ruled, women stayed in their place and blacks were slaves! Yes. Vance is a bad man. My friends family live in Kentucky. A state that vociferously supported Trump but now people are being very quiet. He's losing votes every time he opens his mouth.

I was just talking to a sister who’s lived in the US since the 70s - she said the same, his ‘advisers’ are behind a lot of it, encouraging him.

However IMO he’s still a very dangerous narcissistic megalomaniac.

Yes, numbers of USA citizens are waking up. American Democratic Senators have been threatened. Look up Heather Cox Richardson on UTube. She’s a Californian history professor and is rather good at explaining the seriousness of the situation.

On the other hand, there are Americans out in the streets shouting "Trump must go" after the death of the poor woman shot by an ICE agent.
