Why do people keep saying 2000 years ago?
I don’t get that either.
I didn't say 2,000 years ago.
But saying that Jewish people should have been given part of the USA as a homeland after the horrors of WW2 is what I would call silly, indeed irritating, especially as Jerusalem is the spiritual and indeed historical centre of Judaism, from where Jewish people have been expelled more than once over a time period of far more than 2,000 years.
If it is irritating, perhaps that is the is a grain of truth which is annoying some.
That does not mean that I in any way agree with what Netanyahu and his Government are doing and no right-minded person would, before anyone accuses me of being a supporter.
What I meant was that Israel and then Judah were around about about 1000 years before that.
Then the land was invaded by Persians, Assyrians, Greeks, Romans, Turks and about 150 years ago Arabs.
So I asked which DNA would be valid. Not that anyone’s answered.
Yes, have a bit of America is equally silly. These rather wild statements do nothing to promote a resolution.
And of course supplies for the civilian population should be distributed.
