Casdon... Don't need to be deported I already feel like an immigrant in my home town...no benefits for me from a mixed society
Until you need care at home, in hospital or a care home that is, or you need your bins emptied, to be served in the supermarket, goods driven to your home town, etc. our society runs on immigrants, as it has done for many years.
That so depends where you live, wouldn't you agree. Some areas have very little immigration, some, as our area, but not enough to overwhelm the local population.
As most of the jobs you describe are done by local people here I think you do a great disservice by saying all these jobs are done by immigrants.
The only concern I have, is the sudden influx of Turkish barbers.
Actually, no, I wouldn’t. I live near a rural town in mid Wales, but nonetheless the hospitals, care homes, hotels etc. are largely staffed by immigrants, mainly Eastern Europeans, Filipinos and Indians, who have come over on various schemes to attract people to work in shortage services.
