He said he was ready to serve. So okay but doesn’t he have a job at the moment? How pleased are his constituents at the moment? How much time does he give them?
Chocolatelovinggran please broaden the question - has anyone had a response from their newly elected mp? I am still waiting and I don’t live in Clacton.
Our newly elected MP has been out door knocking, I met him again last week in our road! I met him the first time when he was out canvassing, he is the first Labour MP ever in our constituency
Nigel Farage is in exactly the right place at the right moment. The Uk desperately needs someone to improve Uk/USA diplomatic relationships - Lammy and Starmer having failed at the first hurdle.
😂😂😂😂
It’s not his place! He’s not in the government, he’s literally in real terms a nobody! He should be where he’s paid to belong, in Clacton serving!
Trump will not have much time for a Labour Gov. so who is FS is probably immaterial. The Reform party will be pleased they got another candidate in Parliament this week - somewhat unreported I think.
Do tell Boz, who is the new Reform MP, I haven’t seen anything about that?
I am happy if anyone can broker a peace deal between Ukraine and Russia. Too many young men are dying. All wars end some time and the sooner this stops, the better. NATO has not covered itself in glory.

FGT are you happy with the probability that Trump will withdraw funding from Ukraine and try to broker a "peace" that will involve Ukraine ceding territory to Putin?.
I was staggered to realise the amount of correspondence, all types, MPs receive daily, and there are those who write, do not receive the reply they wish for, so write and write again, then complain their complaints are disregarded.
You are wrong ronib in my opinion. I don't like Lammy but Starmer is perfectly capable of working alongside Trump - they have met, the meeting was fine and Lammy has (I hope) grown up a bit now.
Farage on the other hand, has not. Neither is he trying to make diplomatic relations work better between the USA and Uk - in my opinion he's doing what he likes best, swanning about in "high places" - and we all know he likes Trump!
This was published in September and seeing as Farage has been Stateside at least twice since then I can’t imagine things have improved for the residents of Clacton.

As eazybee has said, it is the people of his constituency that should have some thoughts on this. Does anyone on GN live near and can tell us what the locals feel about their elusive MP?
LD the NHS at the moment is not in the best shape or place. I don’t know exactly the plan Nigel Farage has but a detailed breakdown would help. I don’t imagine you have a detailed understanding either? I imagine NF is trying to make diplomatic relations work better between the USA and Uk as he some advantage which no other politician has currently. That is Trump likes him!!
FGT would you be happy with Farage’s ‘plan’ for the NHS - to turn it into an American style system … because that’s a great system for all people isn’t it, NOT!
How childish. Shall we apply the same to the hundred or so Labour activists who went out to try and disrupt the American election. Bet they got short shrift. At least Farage is up front, didn't go to undermine Harris, and has been a friend of Trump for many years.
Farage is a publicity hound, similar to Galloway, always looking for a chance to be in the limelight, to dictate the narrative and attract those who want to pile their discontents onto any available scapegoat.
I wrote to my mp when the WFA was withdrawn and I have yet to receive an answer. I did eventually receive a response saying that an office was being set up, my mp had read the email and that someone would eventually reply. The months are ticking by and the silence is overwhelming. Has anyone else had a similar experience with their mp?
