No-one who has experienced the sheer physical and mental exhaustion of cancer treatment would expect her to throw herself into lauching a campaign before she has recovered her strength. That takes longer than just surviving finishing the actual course of the treatment.
I have no doubt that once she is back in public life again, she will be deluged with rquests to become a patron of a lot of cancer charities and organisations, as a result of all the publicity she has had. Perhaps that will become one of her main projects, but it is too soon yet for this reproach from some people for not taking anything on.
