No government can deliver more GP appointments, more NHS appointments, or more teachers within 100 days. I very much doubt that they can provide more of many of these over the five years that a Parliament runs, due to the length of time it takes to train these professionals. More could be provided by the immoral practice of poaching the educated groups from other countries, many of them poor, and in desperate need of their own professionals to support their own services and economies. But none of it can be delivered in 100 days, which I have also seen claimed, and so no, it’s not hyperbole.
