Emergency 999 calls

A pity it was not working on Friday when a fool rang 999 to say a cat had been following him or her down a road!

The ACC had to listen to the call x2 to believe what rubbish he was hearing after it was brought to his attention!

Just in case it ever goes down again, the advice was to call 101

According to local media back up system now in place and working.

Both Sky and BBC are reporting that this glitch has now been fixed.
