I idolised her as a child and had her picture - compliments of the Girl - on my bedroom wall.

Long life well lived.

Whitewavemark2, same here. Girl magazine, sometimes with little booklets of pictures of ballerinas, equestriennes and other women we could look up to. I too immediately had a flashback when I saw Beryl Gray’s obituary.
