I’d like to see Ed Balls return to the Labour benches, we need more politicians who are competent, genuinely care about people and will bring a bit more humour to the deadly serious business of politics. Which former (but still living) politicians do you think would improve British politics?

Competent MPs (in all parties) who have had a career other than politics that took them far away from the Westminster world, before they became MPs.
