Although I rather liked the Queen I feel 10 days of mourning for the whole country is a bit OTT. We are in a crisis situation, have had no government to speak of for the last two months or so and the last thing we need is for all the focus to be on the Monarchy. When the Duke of Edinburgh died it was completely OTT, fgs he was 99 and had a good long life. Those who want to mourn her passing surely can do that without subjecting the whole country to it. I want to hear robust questioning of the new PM not endless programmes about the Queen's love of horses and I am completely obsessed with horses!
