Oh ug what a dreadful thing to say.

It's costing nearly £5million per day to house all these new arrivals in three and four star hotels.

If that is the best news this week you have had a really crummy week havnt you, because its bad news for most people, especially those who have lost everything and been through so much.

I think we've just about reached rock bottom now. How did this vile woman ever get into government?

I feel ashamed of this country with the inhumane treatment shown to the refugees and asylum seekers.

I hope an appeal will be heard on Monday because it is not the solution. I never thought it would come to this. Rock bottom sums it up.

Sorry, but I can't agree that this is good news in any way at all.
I can't find any hint of humanity or compassion in this policy. The Tory party seems to have moved a long long way from Mrs Thatcher saying the St Francis prayer outside No 10.

We can’t keep accepting all these illegal migrants into the U.K. so some plan needs to be put in place. If not Rwanda where or what do you suggest ?

France is a safe country so why the urgency to come here? If it deters people from making that extremely dangerous crossing and helps to break up these appalling gangs, then that's a good thing. Which are all these countries who have left the Commonwealth? Barbados has ditched the Queen, but is still a member of the Commonwealth, and I expect that's what Australia will do - eventually. Rwanda has become a member quite recently, along with the Seychelles, allegedly.

I have thought this for quite some time now. From Trump to Boris to refugees, such extreme views that just wind everyone up; I do think however, that's the intention.

GNHQ tells us not to go troll hunting, and I can understand why. They say we should escalate suspicious posts or threads to them for investigation.

So I have.

Refugees are not illegal immigrants.

The way to stop traffickers (and reduce even further the number of illegal immigrants crossing the channel) is to open legal routes with appropriate vetting elsewhere, particularly in refugee camps outwith Europe.

The way to reduce the cost of detaining legal refugees is to allow them to work.

But no, Patel and her ilk just have to blow their dog whistle instead. And, look at that, it works.

Of course this is good news and I find it astonishing that anyone can think differently.
Already this year we’ve had over 10,000 of these mostly economic migrants pitching up in Kent courtesy of the illegal smugglers, and unless an effective deterrent is found, the numbers will just keep increasing.

At least the Rwanda plan has the potential to stop this illegal trade in its tracks.
Let’s hope it does.

We used to transport criminals to Australia and history tells us what an evil inhumane thing this was.

THOSE SEEKING ASYLUM HAVE THE RIGHT TO CHOSE THE COUNTRY Of ASYLUM.

Those suggesting that they stay in France are being ridiculous. Those people will have walked through numerous countries to get as far as France, that logic simply doesn’t stand up.
