The point being, Malone is complaining about £7 Visa- when now Europeans will have to spend more than 10x that much- which they did not have to before today, and before Brexit. Passports were only required for those who wanted to go beyond Europe. Hardly 'insular' to be happy to travel across a whole, and very varied, with lots of cultures, languages, foods, landscapes, geography, etc, etc, etc.
'Insular' is a term I'd rather use for Brexiters who wanted to choose to isolate us all from our neighbours and partners- and then bitterly complain about the consequences. As Malone ridiculous rant above.
