I agree on that growstuff diversity training in my experience is usually very poor, I think it is a very difficult subject to deliver well, it requires the trainer to have a range of skills.

A spokesman for the Labour Party said today "In light of comments made today and his failure to retract them subse, the Labour Party has suspended Jeremy. Robyn pending investigation.
He has also had the whip removed from the Parliamentary Labour Party.
This is after the release of the antisemitism report.
I agree on that growstuff diversity training in my experience is usually very poor, I think it is a very difficult subject to deliver well, it requires the trainer to have a range of skills.
I would also say that training is such an easy thing to focus on and it does little to address the culture of an organisation.
And stubborn
Yes, I think that has always been a problem.
Maybe Jeremy Cronyn lacked a clued up SPAD?
Galaxy
I would also say that training is such an easy thing to focus on and it does little to address the culture of an organisation.
I agree. The easy bit is writing policies to tick boxes, but it's much more difficult to embed the policies into everything an organisation does.
I gave absolutely no idea why my exceptionally old iPad has changed Corbyn to Cronyn!!! It really does have a mind of its own
*gave!!!!! obviously have
Of course the poster with the quotation from Noam Chomsky is also as weasely as the souces they condemn.
No one has accused Corbyn of being pro-racist, and to his credit, I do not think he is. But he has been pro-Palestinian, which means opposed to Israel's policies in relation to Palestine. Aagain many people not in the Labour party are opposed to Israel's policies in that area.
But, as this thread has shown, the boundary between being opposed to the policies of the Israeli government and anti-Semitism is wafer thin and there were those in Corbyns inner office who were unable to see that there was a dividing line. and, as recent biographies have shown, Corbyn is a man who does not like to confront people or make decisions and so he chose to take no action against anyone close to him who was eliding opposition to Israel with anti-semitism.
You do not have to espouse a policy to be complicit in it. Corbyn is anti-semitic, not because he did or said anything anti-semitic himself, but because, when faced with it in others, including people very close to him he failed to confront it and deal with it.
Starmer and Labour right orchestrated ‘antisemitism’ attacks against Jeremy Corbyn…

Poor bloke. It's testament to his character that he continues to work for his constituents despite the witch hunt. And will do it on a voluntary basis even if he isn't reinstated.
He's still an MP. It won't be voluntary.
Just what I was about say growstuff
All he will be doing is what he is paid to do, and expected to do. I mean to say, he is still expected to work for his £83,000, plus expenses.
But dont you know the script. The script that can never be deviated from, he is a such a good man. No critical thinking or analysis allowed. Just the script.
He's still an MP.
The Scottish MP who broke the rules re COVID is still an MP despite being expelled from the SNP.
MPs have changed parties mid-term and stayed on.
plus expenses. and subsidised gourmet meals at the H of C.
‘Poor Bloke’ Gaga !! You must be joking.
He’s an arrogant man who took no interest in ridding his own Party of anti-Semitism so that it flourished under his (lack of)
Leadership. Not only did he abysmally fail to win the GE but he has divided the Party and brought it to the brink of ruin.
If Starmer has any sense he will exclude Corbyn permanently from the LP.
I do wish posters would stop being apologists for Corbyn and putting it all down to a ‘lack of training’ within the LP.
No, it was just out and out Anti-Semitism running rife with Momentum leading the way.
What else would he do that pays so well with such wonderful expenses?
I have just explored all the old threads on antisemitism in the LP on GN, interesting reading, though I expect quite a few posters would be embarrassed now to see what they wrote then.
It was all ‘right wing conspiracy’ it was ‘just the media’ there was ‘little or no antisemitism within the LP’......
We certainly now know ( if it was ever in doubt!) that it exists alright.
He could go back to his allotment Callistemon that would be a step in the right direction, and leave politics forever.
The response by Jeremy Corbyn is pitiful. No contrition, no apology, no acceptance of any responsibility. No understanding of the seriousness of the situation, even now. Nobody forced Jeremy to stand to be leader of the Labour Party, but as the EHRC says, he is ultimately accountable and responsible for what happened at that time. Corbynism died its death today.
The moment of greatest shame in the history of the Labour Party. And to think how many said it was all made up and exaggerated. Which amongst them will stand up and say that I am truly sorry?
Lord Mann
All this inward looking squabbling is why we are now stuffed with Tory Party in power
If Corbyn was any good he would havea done a better job at opposing the Tories.
Our country is being torn to pieces while this name calling goes on.
There is a big streak of AS in this country and always has been. and the wriggling out of it by blaming Isreal is just an excuse.
Corbyn is history lets try and build an opposition party that could do some good for a change.
I thunk the real truth is still hidden as to whether Corbyn is or was AS but lets move on.
Watch the video. Look at the evidence and stop blaming one man, Anti-semitism in the LP was not dealt with before 2015, after Corbyn's election it was not dealt with because senior officals were working against him. When staff were changed in 2018 things began to be done, but it was too little too late.
He has been and no doubt will continue to be an excellent MP for his constituency.
lemongrove there is no mention of momentum in the report.
Go on look at the video I dare you You will find the truth about the report, the right using antisemitism as a weapon to attack the left. Then have your say.
The evidence is well documented and heard. All his associations with violent murderous organisations and yet the straggly little band still maintain this highly privileged man is innocent. It's beyond belief really.Thank goodness he's out and his salary should be stopped. he should reimburse uk for all that time he was not doing his job for this country. Whatever you think of Boris, he does love this country. Jeremy should relocate to one of the countries with whom he supports the organisations that we abhor here.
