It says just now on SKY news that KS ‘has asked RLB to step down from the Shadow Cabinet. …. Not quite the same as being sacked then?

No one will be allowed to bring the Labour Party into disrepute. RLB, should have taken the offending tweet down when requested by Starmer. She refused.

Wow! Who would have thought just a matter of months ago, that not only would RLB not have made it to LOTO ( Corbyn and McD ‘s preferred candidate) but that she would be out of the Shadow Cabinet altogether, sacked!
Starmer has taken a firm line on anti-Semitic tweets/articles etc ( which he needed to do)...good for him.?

If it makes you feel better, Starmer sacked her for being stupid, not for being Anti-semitic.

It was an absolutely idiotic thing to do which she realised fairly quickly when she started frantically backtracking. He's drawing a line in the sand, it's a very clear message.

Rebecca Long Bailey is a prize idiot. She should have been focusing on keeping the heat up on Boris and Co. not sounding off on Twitter.

It's not as if Labour hasn't had enough problems with antisemitism. She should have had the wit to steer well clear of this.
