Oh dear Harry and Meghan

Annie I just love this! I know you've written it before, but it sounds so "Monty Python" and always makes me smile, and goodness knows we need a smile these days:

Sparkle yes I have written it before ?, but it does sum up how ridiculous it was , and not forgetting refusing to say where
the baby would be born because they didn’t want the press there yet gave an interview to the press in Windsor Castle with
the baby in tow,

William and Kate stood outside the hospital for a few minutes
then away from the press they went . Harry gave two interviews to the press. Surely this was a need to be photographed.

Another way of looking at it Brigeit Greymar is that there is a tradition with Royal babies that a small glimpse is given to the public as a gesture of celebration. The public have no right to it but when it is given, it is much appreciated by those who are interested. H & M's confusing and conflicting announcements just baffled everyone.

I think of silly things.
That baby has lived in three different countries and two continents before he is one.
Does Harry have his own horses, and if so, where are they?
Does H&M's furniture and baggage move with them?
Where are all the wedding presents?

Maybe, I guess I am just one those who isn’t particularly interested in photos & articles about them.
But I do have a bit more interest in human behaviours
One of which seems to be - Build them up to Knock them down.

Have you actually read the account Smileless gave of how her son was led into estrangement of her family by a woman who had already estranged her own family? Can you not see the behaviour pattern?
Anyway if they are now going to pay for their own security it doesn’t really matter. Prince Charles has apparently said he will only pay them their two and a half million for one year, from his own wealth and not using Duchy profits, so they need to get on with earning some big money quickly. Good luck to them with that.

In any other case the posts on this thread would be looked at as what they really are-orchestrated bullying. None of us know what has really gone on. But the ability of GN posters to think the worst of people always astounds me and it is so similar to what used to go on in school playgrounds, picking on the weakest/different/prettiest girl that I can only conclude that some learn no compassion with age.

Harry is Diana's son, but thankfully Diana had another son, one that we can all be proud of and grateful for. Thank goodness William was her elder son. I read this morning that he is hoping to rejoin the air ambulance service during the crisis. Maynot be possible as his timetable is jammed full with all the extra commitments left rudderless after H & M'S departure! Imo it's far worse behaviour than the abdication, at least the D & D of Windsor didn't publicly blame the RF, close family members, and certainly not the British public! Nor did they settle down in tinsel town in order to make mega bucks!

GrannyLaine a good point. The public are happy with a glimpse of the new royal baby and then off go the couple to privacy. It does seem manipulative to me that H+M wanted as much attention as they could get for their wedding, but denied the very same public a glimpse of the baby. Plus the total rejection of tradition, seems manipulative to me.
eazybee a good post. I suspect Harry will have to learn to live without the things enjoyed such as horses, polo, military occasions etc. Never mind, what Meghan wants, Meghan gets. I hope she doesn’t stop wanting Harry like she did her other two husbands, one annulled, one divorced, otherwise Harry May come to regret all of this.

Bridgeit I believe you’re correct, love is blind. It must be considering the number of divorced people there are. And Meghan is a very beautiful woman, that is clear to see. I feel sorry for her family and Harry’s family.

And if it doesn't work out condemnation and blaming never helps. Forgiving may never be possible but just keeping quiet may help.

How do we know William is so marvelous? He looks like a sulky pants to me.
